On the Non-Fiction unit I choose the topic dolphins because they are my favorite animal, and I only know a little about them. That would be why I chose this topic.
I thought that this topic was simple, and that's why I really liked Non-Fiction. I also liked learning more facts about dolphins, and now I'm a dolphin pro. I did not like when we did pages though. I had too many facts, so it was really hard to cram it into 4 pages. (I'm glad that Mrs. Clayton let us do 4 pages instead of 2. I would of died.) I really hope that you like my piece because it took a lot of effort!
I loved how you organized and presented this writing. You added water facts and you also stayed on the topic the whole time. Your pictures served a purpose and were not off topic. Great job, Julia!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree! The intro was really good too. I loved all the pictures and the one with the dolphin eating the fish made me crack up. Awesome Job!
DeleteI loved it! Your writing was funny and fun to read. Also, you could learn a lot of facts. I like how you had a warm and nice beginning and a closing ending that restated everything. The table of contents was a nice touch as well as the word bank. I never knew so much about dolphins! There were only minor errors, like missing a small word or something like that, but I thought it was great. Outstanding job!
ReplyDeleteAnushka really did mention everything I wanted to say but I think your piece was really fun to read. I think I learned more than I thought I would about dolphins. Great job!
DeleteJulia, you are my "go-to" girl for all things dolphin related! You were able to take a whole lot of facts and convey then in an interesting and engaging way. You intro and conclusion were on track and it was clear that you spent some time editing and revising your work. I don't think you made one spelling mistake! Overall, a fantastic effort kiddo (as always)!
